001 | Con 11 páginas, opté por hacer que cada doble página tenga un nuevo color generando el climax. La primera comienza con blanco, negro y rojo; la segunda blanco, negro, rojo y naranja; la tercera blanco, negro, rojo, naranja y amarillo y así... Se van sumando colores hasta la situación principal donde Emma llega al bosque. Después de casar a los leones va devolviendo los objetos prestados, y la misma cromía va disminuyendo nuevamente hasta los mismos que se encuentran en la primer doble página.
002 | Cuando Emma está en camino hacia la jungla, siempre está mirando hacia la derecha, y al regresar, siempre mira hacia la izquierda. Esto ayuda a dar un sentido de direccionalidad dentro del espacio físico del cuento y el mismo libro.
003 | El personaje del panadero empieza siendo un misterio dado que se ve el cuerpo hasta el torso solamente y en la doble página 10 se descubre, revelando su cuerpo entero.
004 | Se puede observar que mientras va avanzando el cuento, las doble páginas comienzan a tener más información, encontrando las primeras con más blanco, y que al llegar al corazón de la jungla, se encuentra todo más cargado.
005 | En la tapa y la contratapa hay un juego de puntos de vista: como si la tapa fuera la vista de frente y la contratapa es de espaldas.
